AP Coordinators

The College Board has decided to cancel all AP Coordinator sessions for the summer 2020. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will plan to host AP Coordinators in 2021.

This free, one-day workshop–updated for the 2020-21 school year–is designed to help new and experienced AP coordinators learn how to efficiently and successfully manage their schools’ AP program. In this workshop, you will have the chance to exchange best practices and learn new ways to handle the responsibilities of coordinating an AP program. Join us Wednesday August 5, 2020.
Please note, this AP Coordinators’ Workshop can only be give as an in-person workshop.  No on-line and no hybrid AP Coordinators’ workshops are allowed by the College Board. There are only two AP Coordinators’ workshops being offered in the Western States this summer: Idaho in June and Oregon in August.

Parking on Campus

Parking on the campus of the University of Oregon is tightly controlled and monitored. All vehicles, including motorcycles, must display at UO parking permit. There are a limited number of parking spaces available on campus. If you park your vehicle on campus without a permit or if you have a permit and park your vehicle in a parking zone that is not consistent with your parking permit, you will receive a $60 parking ticket.

Where to Park

AP Coordinators may park in the underground UO 13th Avenue Garage (near Mathew Knight Arena, the green box on the UO campus map).  This garage should have plenty of parking spots (although a bit narrow).  Parking in the 13th Ave. Garage costs $2 per hour, with an $18 maximum charge per day. Patrons pay at the garage toll booth as they exit the garage.  Alternatively, AP Coordinators, upon arrival on campus proceed to the metered parking spots in front of Straub Hall (blue box on the campus map).  After paying for 30 minutes of parking at the meter, proceed to the UO APSI Office, Room 151 Straub Hall. Purchase a parking permit hangtag for $10 from the APSI Director,  go back to your car, proceed to re-park your car in one of the UO “Green Sign” Staff/Faculty lots (purple color box on the map).  Please note, the UO APSI daily parking permit will not be recognized or honored at the 13th Avenue Garage. Alternatively, one can pay for a full day of parking at one of the metered parking spots on University Avenue in front of McArthur Court (yellow box).
